Last week, researchers from the Department of Geography and fourth-year Geography students visited La Llana Beach where they took data on the effects of the Gloria storm on the coast.

This storm has been the third in the last nine months in the Mediterranean coast and the most intense in terms of wave height, maximum precipitation collected and lightning strikes in a single day in the same month, according to data from the Ministry for Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge.
The companions of the University of Murcia will investigate the different scenarios of Climate Change, analyzing in the long term the positive impacts that the LIFE Salinas Project will have on the Regional Park.
