This Tuesday, May 19, the second annual follow-up meeting of the LIFE Salinas Project was held online. All the partners of the Project participated in the meeting: Salinera Española S.A. (coordinating partner of the Project), the Asociación de Naturalistas del Sureste (ANSE), the University of Murcia, the Dirección General del Medio Natural, the technical consultant Mãe d’água, Lda. and the Municipality of San Pedro del Pinatar. The meeting was also attended by Ainhoa Darquistade from NEEMO, in charge of assisting the EASME agency of the European Commission in monitoring LIFE program projects.
During the day, the progress and results of the actions were presented, although the problems derived from the covid19 were also shown, which have prevented the normal development of the Project from continuing. To do this, an online meeting was held in which each participant showed their progress and results in this first year and a half of the project with presentations.
Finally, the prospects were presented for the coming months, with the hope that we can meet soon and show the progress of the actions in the Parque Regional de las Salinas y Arenales de San Pedro del Pinatar.
