The Conference on conservation actions in the Regional Park of “Las Salinas y Arenales de San Pedro del Pinatar” took place on the March the 17th. The objective of the conference was to present the actions and main results obtained within the framework of the LIFE Salinas project, as well as the results and management tools developed by the LIFE INVASAQUA coordination.
Each session was mainly practical, with participants exchanging experiences and impressions regarding the conservation of the biodiversity located in the Regional Park of “Salinas y Arenales de San Pedro del Pinatar”. Additionally, a discussion took place surrounding the issues of coastal erosion within the “La Llana” beach system and the control of invasive exotic species within the Regional Park’s dune system.
The conference was attended by Environmental Agents of the Autonomous Community of Murcia, Environmental Agents of the Demarcation of Coasts of Murcia as well as technicians from various administrations related to the management and conservation of the Regional Park.
