The LIFE-Salinas Project takes part in the “Workshop for the exchange of ideas regarding the integration of biodiversity and sustainability in the design and maintenance of artificial wetlands”.

During this workshop, the coordinator of the LIFE-Salinas Project Gustavo Ballesteros has presented a paper on the results obtained from the promotion of biodiversity in the Regional Park “Salinas y Arenales de San Pedro del Pinatar”, in relation to the improvement of the habitat available for the reproduction of aquatic birds in the salt flats and dune ecosystems.

The workshop was held on the 21st and 22nd of April at the visitor’s centre of the Natural Park “El Hondo” as part of the Project Connected with Nature: recovery of ecosystem services through biodiversity executed by ANSE within the framework of the Biodiversity Foundation’s EmpleaVerde program.
