Last week, our colleagues from the University of Murcia took part in the International Conference “Sustainable management and conservation of coastal habitats and species”, hosted by the ‘Coastal Habitat Conservation in Natural Park “Piejūra”‘ Project (LIFE15 NAT / LV / 00900).
The conference took place in Latvia, although some participants, including our co-workers, opted for online attendance due to the current Covid-19 situation.

Two communications and one poster were presented to the conference:

• Mapping the ecosystem services of the Salinas y Arenales de San Pedro del Pinatar Regional Park for the management of coastal habitats. This communication was presented by Diana Hernández Mármol, PhD candidate in Geography at the University of Murcia and member of the LIFE Salinas team.
• Wildlife management and conservation actions in the Salinas y Arenales de San Pedro del Pinatar Regional Park within the framework of the LIFE Salinas project.
