Last Friday the third year students of the Bachelor’s degree in Geography and Land Management visited Las salinas de San Pedro del Pinatar. Accompanied by their professor Gustavo A. Ballesteros, who is also the LIFE-Salinas Project coordinator, the students could know in situ the objectives programmed for the next four years within the project. One of the most significant goals of LIFE-Salinas is to involve as many students as possible, from any level of formal education. That is why environmental education and volunteerism become truly important, seen as the main tools for the dissemination of the Project and the Natura 2000 network.
