On November 13 and 14, 2019, the XI Conference on Biodiversity Information and Environmental Administrations was held at the University of Murcia. The conference was a meeting point for the public administrations, responsible for the generation, collection, management and dissemination of information regarding Biodiversity. The LIFE-Salinas project was invited to participate through the presentation of the Communication entitled: “Monitoring of aquatic birds in the Regional Park: Las Salinas y Arenales de San Pedro del Pinatar”.
The main objectives of these conferences included, among others, to make contact with the current panorama, facilitate the integration and dissemination of data and information on biodiversity, and to look for solutions to common problems regarding environmental administrations.
At the meeting, the technical specialists of the different environmental administrations put in common the current initiatives and projects related to information on Biodiversity. In addition, some common actions for the future, in order to give the maximum diffusion to this type of information, were established.
