During 2019, we received 11 sightings of Audouin’s gulls ringed at the colony of San Pedro del Pinatar that have been recorded thanks to the collaboration of birdwatchers who sent their observations through the application of the Estación Biológica de Doñana Ringing Office (EBD-CSIC). Eight of these sightings were on the Mediterranean Spanish coast, one in Ceuta and two on the Moroccan Atlantic coast.

The readings of Morocco took place in Merdja Zerga and at the mouth of the Massa River. The latter is the farthermost with 1199 km from San Pedro in a straight line. In addition, BP9X, the bird observed in Ceuta, was previously observed in the Saloum Delta, Senegal, in 2015.
