Scientific ringing of birds within the biological monitoring program in Las Salinas

This morning, the LIFE-Salinas staff in collaboration with the fauna monitoring team and the veterinary team of the University of Murcia, ringed 46 Audouin’s gull (Larus audouinii) birds. The identification and collection of data on each specimen will be helpful to control the populations, the study of the conservation status and the effect of a global change in the biology and ecology of this species.
