Production of dune plants in the ANSE garden centre

Last Saturday, the 9th of February, volunteers of the Project started the propagation of plants for developing the dune restoration actions. In particular, Cyperus capitatus was vegetatively propagated and Elymus farctus was sown. These species are two herbaceous plants with a significant role in the functioning of both, the embryonic dune and the mobile dune. The roots of these plants immobilize the dunes that protect the coast.
